Selling Through the General Services Administration (GSA)

  2. The General Services Administration (GSA) contracts with companies in order to make products and services available to other federal agencies. Obtaining a contract with GSA is similar to having your product or service listed in a catalogue - it does not guarantee that anyone will buy from the catalogue. But, having your product/service on a Schedule makes it much easier for other agencies to purchase from you.

  3. GSA groups similar items into "Schedules." A number identifies each schedule. For example: Schedule 874 is management, organization and business improvement services (MOBIS).

  4. To see the Schedules under which your product/service might be placed, visit the Selling to the Government Library and click on "Buying Activities." Next click on "Federal," then "GSA," then "E Schedules Library."

  5. In order to use the Schedule information efficiently, you will need to know what your FSC (federal supply code) number is. To determine that, go to the Selling to the Government Librarycraps regles and select "product/service codes," then "FSC."

  6. You will note that there is usually a strong correlation between the FSC number and the Schedule number. Note - the FSC will be called the "PCC code" below.

  7. In order to negotiate a contract with GSA to place your product/service on a Schedule, you will need to download the "Solicitation" for that Schedule from the Internet. Go to the Selling to the Government Libraryhotelzimmer Borgarnes reservieren and click on "Solicitations," then click on "Electronic Posting Site (EPS)." Next click on "EPS for Vendors," then "Search EPS Posts." On the search page, select your PCC (procurement classification code) from the list; then select "general service administration" from the list; then click on "start search." That should bring up the active Solicitations for your product/service.
