Choose "Run" from the "Start" button; type [cd-drive]:setup.exe2. Follow the instructions on your screen.3. To begin the program, double-click the "Resource Guide 2001"icon found on your desktop.You may also start the program by going to the "Small BusinessResource Guide 2001" folder in the "Start" "Programs" menu to begin the program and view the readme file.Acrobat Fill In 4.0:Adobe Acrobat Fill In 4.0 enables you to save your fill-in formsto disk.  You may view, search, fill in, print, and save Acrobatdocuments from within your browser.  Note: The Acrobat Browser Plug-in does not support Index Search.        Index Search enables you to search all of the SBRG pdf        files simultaneously.  See below for instructions on how        to perform an index search of the SBRG CD-R0M.Performing an Index Search:If you would like to search all pdf files simultaneously usingthe Acrobat Index Search feature, open the file named"indexsearch.pdf" directly from the CD-ROM using Acrobat 4.0.This will automatically load the index required to search allthe pdfs at once.View the Acrobat Help Guide for instructions on how to usethe Index Search feature.Power Users:You will find the index file in the pdf folder located on theCD-ROM.  You can load the index from any pdf file you have openin Acrobat 4.0.Shockwave 7.0:As part of the Shockwave 7.0 installation, Flash 4.0 is alsoinstalled.  Shockwave 7.0 and Flash 4.0 are required to view theSBRG Tutorials.QuickTime 4.0:QuickTime 3.0 or higher is required to view the movies in the SBRGTutorials.  See below for troubleshooting issues.Troubleshooting:Problem:"I get an error when I start the Resource Guide setup."Solution:If you receive an error upon initiating setup, please be sure allapplications (including anti-virus software) have been closed.Problem:"I get an error when I try to save my fill-in forms."Solution:Do not attempt to save your forms on the CD-ROM.  Use "Save As" tosave the files to your hard drive.Problem:"My printer doesn't have enough memory to print an Acrobat file."Solution:Try to print one page or a group of pages at a time.  If possible,upgrade your printer memory.Problem:"Acrobat Reader opens my .pdf files.  I want Acorbat Fill In toopen them so I can save the data I enter in my fill-in forms."Solutions: Windows uses the last Adobe Acrobat product installed on yourcomputer as the default "open" program.  A version of AcrobatReader may have been installed after Acrobat Fill In was loaded.Open Acrobat Fill In 4.0, then open the desired pdf file.Problem:"I can only search the Acrobat file that is open.  I want to beable to search all of the Acrobat files at once." Solution:See Acrobat Fill In 4.0 earlier in this readme.Power-Users: You  can load the Search Index into any pdf file.  It is locatedin the "pdfs" folder on the SBRG CD-ROM.QuickTime Video Troubleshooting:Most problems you encounter will be corrected by installing thelatest version of QuickTime supplied on this CD-ROM.QuickTime video can be sensitive to the display settings of somecomputers. There is no universal setting that works all the timeon all computers.However:If you hear the audio and only see purple where the video shouldbe, try changing the color depth of your monitor.  This can bedone by going to the "Display" "Settings" in the Control Panel.If your display is set to "True color" (24 bit), change it to"Thousands" (16 bit) or vice versa.If you encounter poor video or audio playback, change the colordepth of your monitor as described in the paragraph above.If the problem persists, your computer might not be fast enoughfor smooth playback.  The video should play very well on 200 MhzPentium computers or higher.If you hear audio and there is no video, you must install QuickTime3.0 or higher.  QuickTime 4.0 is supplied on the SBRG CD-ROM.
