The Grand Valley, home of Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado, is 240 miles west of Denver. Three mesas, ranging in elevation from 9,000 to 11,000 ft, surround the Grand Valley, which has a mean elevation of 4586 ft. The average daytime temperature in the Grand Valley in April is 65.8 F, with average nighttime lows of 38.5 F.
