| Mission Groups Go Ye Ministries' short-term mission trips are open to anyone who loves the Lord and has a heart to serve. These trips are great opportunities to go to the mission field and experience the thrill of ministering to needy people. As a person serves others on mission trips, they grow spiritually. You can't out give God.
We take medical mission teams into Honduras and along the Amazon River in Peru. In May, GYM took a medical team into Iquitos, Peru, where we worked with a local doctor in five villages along the Amazon River. We were able to carry in $40,000 worth of medicine. medical clinics.
We are taking a team into Pacasmayo, Peru, in October to hold a City-Wide Crusade. The GYM team will be preaching, teaching, and leading worship in the Crusade. We know many, many souls will be won to our Lord Jesus Christ.
GYM will also be taking a building team into Iquitos, Peru, in October to start drilling water wells along the Amazon River in five villages. Each compound will consist of a water system, six buildings, a bathhouse, and a simple solar electric system. These compounds will be used to spread the Gospel and help the people. There will be a medical clinic, a school, two sleeping quarters, a Bible school, and a church in each location.
GYM will be taking a team into Honduras in December to give out Shoeboxes of goodies to the children at our Feeding Stations. This team will evangelize and minister to the children with drama, song, storytelling, hugs, and love.
