ORGANIZATION
The Parkinson Foundation of Harris County was chartered in July, 1980 by concerned patients and their families.
They felt a need for a responsive organization that emphasizes patient and family involvement. As it functions at this time, Parkinsonians and their families plan and implement all phases of the organizations work. The therapists are the only paid workers in the organization.
