European Office

In Europe, the European Office in Erlangen, Germany  takes care of all practical aspects of the organization of activities in Europe. The European Office is headed at the moment by Rainer Rimane, who is responsible for the conference organization, publishing activities and financial aspects. European Council Board

The European Council is one of the regional councils of the Society for Computer Simulation International. The Board of the Council takes all decisions on activities in Europe, and is represented in the Board of Directors of SCS. As of 2001, the European Board members are elected by the European members for a two-year period. The current Board is composed as follows:
