PROJECT OF THE MONTH - JUNEThank You Card on Blue Cardstock withVellum Cutouts
Summary: For this card, we embossed the thank you on blue cardstock and painted the words white. The flowers and butterfly were embossedon vellum, painted with pastel colors, and cut out. See completematerial listing, and detailed instructions below. Materials: Flower - S 840 Scissors Butterfly S 762 Glue Thankyou FS 964 Daubers Cardstock Sponge Tool TransparentVellum Repositional Tape PigmentInk Instructions: Positionand tape thank you stencil onto cardstock. Naples hôtelsFlip stencil and card over and emboss. Turn card back to the right side and keep stencil taped in place. Using a dauber and the pigment ink dab on lightly the desired amount ofink. Remove the stencil from thecard and set aside to dry. Embossthe flowers and the butterfly on the piece of vellum. When embossing on vellum use a lighter touch. Applying too much pressure with the embossing tool will poke holes in thepaper. Remove the stencils. With the sponge dauber lightly rub the desired color over the flowers,leaves and butterfly. Use thesponge tool to paint in the black body of the butterfly. Usinga craft knife or scissors, cut out the flowers and leaves in one piece. Cut just outside the embossed edge. hotel rooms ZakopaneUse as many of the flowers and leaves as you like. Now cut out the butterfly. Arrangethe cutouts on the front of your card. Whensatisfied with the placement glue in place. Glue only the centers of the flowers to the card. ERROR MSGDo the same with the butterfly, gluing only the body to the card. Slightly bend the flower petals and the wings of the butterfly to give athree-dimensional look.
